The ‘Hard EOD Café’ Location Range
Close to many of the Guild Members hearts, the Hard EOD Café was Established in the Summer of 1998 initially as a Re-Union Club for Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Bomb Disposal Technicians and was the First of its’ kind on the then fairly new World Wide Web.
The idea was to have a Website from where everyone could keep in touch with friends and colleagues within the EOD ‘fraternity’ it achieved this aim and consisted of a real Rogue’s Gallery of Reprobate EOD Types in its’ first year or so before attracting attention from the wider EOD World, firstly from the other Sqn’s within 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD) and then from EOD Operators from the RLC/Royal Navy & Royal Airforce as well as hundreds of interested foreign EOD Operators, mainly from the States but also from several other Countries.
As a Founding member of the “Hard EOD Café” it has been an aim of mine for many years to launch a Range of T-Shirts “Inspired by – the Hard Rock Café’s Locations”.
However our Range will not be featuring Capital Cities and similar ‘normal’ places and events but will feature places through history, some dark and sinister locations/events, some to do with our Explosives background, others will be Military related and there will even be Mythical/Fictional places featured, which no doubt will have the wearers retelling many a ‘Tale of Derring-Do’ when asked about their Unique/Eye catching T-Shirt from inquisitive/puzzled minds .
I decided the most ‘apt’ location for the very first ‘Hard EOD Café’ location would be a Special Treason Edition located ‘Below’ the Houses of Parliament, London back at the time of the infamous Gunpowder Plot of 1605. We will look at launching a new location every few weeks… as an example potential locations could be Valhalla, Davy Jones’s Locker ‘At World’s End’, The Continental Hotel – inspired by John Wick, Mos Eisley (hive of scum and villainy in Star Wars), Port Royal, – Jamaica 1668 (at the height of the days of the Pirate Henry Morgan), King’s Landing, Nootka Sound (Inspired by Taboo).
Through this T-Shirt Range the ‘Hard EOD Café’ will live on alongside the ‘Black Powder Guild’
This t-shirt is everything you’ve dreamed of and more. It feels soft and lightweight, with the right amount of stretch. It’s comfortable and flattering for all.
